Toyota Lift Truck Named Most Fuel Efficient, Productive
IRVINE, Calif., December 5, 2005 -- Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) today announced its 5,000 pound capacity 7-Series internal combustion, cushion tire lift truck was named most fuel efficient and most productive by USAC Properties, Inc., a subsidiary of the United States Auto Club, Inc. The Toyota lift truck dramatically outperformed its competition, which consisted of equivalently equipped 5,000 pound capacity internal combustion models from Caterpillar, Komatsu, Nissan and Yale, by as much as 25 percent in fuel efficiency and almost 10 percent in productivity. It exceeded the average of its competitors by 15 percent in fuel efficiency and nearly 8 percent in productivity.

IRVINE, Calif., May 9, 2005 -- Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU), the number one selling lift truck supplier in the U.S., has recently been ranked number one in both quality and value by purchasers of material handling equipment in an independent research study conducted by Reed Research Group.
Reed Research Group, a third party researcher specializing in business-to-business and business-to-consumer surveys, polled more than 600 readers of Modern Materials Handling magazine to discover Toyota placed number one in overall quality and number one in overall value.
Toyota Launch CNG Fuel System
IRVINE, Calif., February 18, 2005 -- Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU), the number one selling lift truck supplier in the U.S., announced the availability of a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fuel system option for its 4,000 to 6,500 lb. capacity internal combustion (I.C.) cushion and 3,000 to 6,500 lb. capacity I.C. pneumatic lift truck models.
Toyota's new CNG Fuel System option carries the Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listing and is certified to meet strict hydrocarbon, oxides of nitrogen, and carbon monoxide emission level regulations mandated by the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB).
